Our Simpsonville Executive Team
Deidre Weaver, LPN, CRCFA, is the Executive Director of Restoration Senior Living of Simpsonville. She has over 28 years in the healthcare and senior living fields. She has developed and taught many staff training courses, mentored administrators in training, and is working on getting her BLS instructors’ certification. Deidre graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Converse College. Deidre believes in an energetic, supportive, and collaborative approach when working with residents, family members, staff, and visitors. Working for faith-based Restoration Senior Living, she knows that the staff will work towards this same mission.
She is married to her high school sweetheart and has 4 adult children. When Deidre has downtime, she enjoys cooking for her family, traveling with her husband, and reading biographies.
Gina De La Cruz Turcotte, MHA, CFRE, joined the Restoration Senior Living family in August of 2022 as the Marketing Director, bringing nearly 20 years of healthcare experience. Her most recent experience in planned giving and major gifts, senior health, advance care planning, and hospice. The reputation of great people and a faith-based work environment is what brought her to RSL.
Gina earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Clemson University and completed a Master of Health Administration through a joint program taking MBA classes at Clemson University and MHA classes at the Medical University of South Carolina. Gina is also a certified Advance Care Planning Facilitator which is an emerging role in healthcare.
Gina has been happily married for 24 years and has three wonderful children. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering, working in the community, cooking, baking and spend time with her family.
Rick Douglas is originally from Shreveport, Louisiana but has made his home in the Greenville area since 1992. He has over 30 years maintenance, painting, plumbing, and minor electrical experience. Rick feels we are all children of God and we are here to put His Word into action, and take care of each other. He is excited about sharing the love of God and the ministry that Restoration Senior Living offers not only with our senior residents, but also with our families, employees, and visitors.
Rick is married, has four children, and four grandchildren. In his spare time he loves to do woodworking. He has built several pieces of furniture for his family.
We have a full staff of medication aids/techs and well-trained care associates with specific training and experience in dementia.
